HALLS & LAYOUT

Paris Nord Villepinte is organised around a central glazed gallery — a covered esplanade bathed in natural daylight — from which all nine main halls are accessible without going outdoors.

Halls 1–6 occupy the western section of the site and are the most commonly used for large international trade fairs. Individual hall sizes range from 7,200 m² to over 48,000 m², allowing organisers to combine adjacent halls for single-event use.

Halls 7 & 8 sit in the central-eastern section. Hall 8 is directly accessible from the Parc des Expositions RER B station, making it the recommended entry point for visitors arriving by public transport.

Halls 5A and 6 are the largest in the complex, regularly used for flagship events such as SIAL and Maison & Objet.

2 independent halls are located separately from the main cluster and are typically used for standalone conferences or smaller events running concurrently with main fairs.

Conference centre: 2 amphitheatres (168 and 628 seats) and 39–42 meeting rooms accommodating 15–700 people, integrated into the venue complex.

Practical notes for exhibitors:

  • The central gallery connects all main halls; allow 10–15 minutes to walk end to end
  • Electric buggies and mobility assistance are available during major fairs
  • Each hall has its own accreditation and logistics entrance

FAQ

How far is Paris Nord Villepinte from Paris city centre?
Paris Nord Villepinte is approximately 25 km north of central Paris. By RER B from Châtelet–Les Halles, the journey takes around 30 minutes. By car via the A1 motorway, expect 30–50 minutes depending on traffic. The venue is considerably closer to Charles de Gaulle Airport (9 km, approximately 15 minutes) than to the city centre, making it highly convenient for international exhibitors flying in.

Which is the closest station to Paris Nord Villepinte?
Parc des Expositions is the dedicated RER B station serving the venue, located directly at Hall 8. It is one stop from Charles de Gaulle Airport Terminal 2 and approximately 25–30 minutes from central Paris stations (Gare du Nord, Châtelet–Les Halles). No additional fare supplement is required beyond a standard Paris transport ticket (Zone 5 included in most day passes).

How early should I book hotels for Maison & Objet?
Maison & Objet runs twice a year (January and September) and is one of the most hotel-intensive fairs in the Paris calendar. Hotels within 10 km of Villepinte — including all properties in the Paris Nord 2 zone — typically fill within 2–4 months of booking opening. We recommend contacting us at least 3–4 months before the fair date. For the January edition in particular, demand is highest and early booking is strongly advised.

Are there hotels within walking distance of Paris Nord Villepinte?
Yes. The Paris Nord 2 business district immediately adjacent to the venue contains several hotels within 5–15 minutes on foot, including properties from Novotel, Ibis, and Golden Tulip. These fill quickly during major fairs. A wider selection of 3- and 4-star properties is available within 5–10 km, with easy RER B or shuttle access. In total, approximately 14,000 hotel rooms are available within 10 minutes of the venue — the largest hotel cluster of any exhibition centre in the Paris region.

What are the main trade fairs held at Paris Nord Villepinte?
Paris Nord Villepinte hosts a broad calendar of international B2B trade fairs. The most significant for international exhibitors include: Maison & Objet (home decor and design, January and September), SIAL (food and beverage industry, October, even years), Intermat (construction equipment, April, odd years), All4Pack / Emballage (packaging, November, even years), JEC World (composites, March), SILMO (optics and eyewear), Eurosatory (defence and security, even years), and SITL (logistics and transport, March–April). A full calendar is published by Viparis at viparis.com.

What is the difference between Paris Nord Villepinte and Paris Expo Porte de Versailles?
These are two entirely separate exhibition venues in the Paris region. Paris Nord Villepinte (Viparis) is located north of Paris near CDG Airport and hosts primarily large international B2B trade fairs. Paris Expo Porte de Versailles is located in the south of Paris (15th arrondissement) and hosts a different calendar of events, including consumer shows and some professional fairs. If your event confirmation does not specify “Porte de Versailles,” your fair is most likely at Villepinte — but always verify with your event organiser.

Is parking available at Paris Nord Villepinte?
Yes. The venue has extensive on-site parking across multiple car parks. During peak events, parking fills quickly and pre-booking via the event organiser’s portal is recommended. EV charging points are available. For exhibitors driving from outside Paris, the A1 (from the south) and A104 (from east or west) are the main approach routes, with clear signage to “Paris Nord Villepinte” or “ZAC Paris Nord 2.”

Can exhibitor teams get group rates for hotels near Villepinte?
Yes. Group rates are available for bookings of 5 rooms or more at most properties in our portfolio near Paris Nord Villepinte. Terms include consolidated EUR billing, a single contact for amendments, and flexible rooming list submission. The Paris Nord 2 hotel cluster is particularly well suited to group bookings given the concentration of properties in one area. Contact us with your team size and fair dates for a tailored quote.

Are there shuttle services between CDG Airport and Paris Nord Villepinte?
During most major fairs, shuttle services operate between CDG Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and the venue. However, the RER B is almost always faster and more reliable — the journey is a single stop (approximately 6 minutes) from CDG Terminal 2 (TGV/RER station) to Parc des Expositions. We recommend the RER B as the default transfer option for international exhibitors.

What is the Paris Nord 2 business district?
Paris Nord 2 is the commercial and logistics zone immediately surrounding the exhibition centre, encompassing hotels, office parks, logistics facilities, and retail. It is not a residential area. Most hotels within walking distance of the venue are located here. The zone is directly accessible via the Parc des Expositions RER B station and via the A104 motorway.
